A journalist Bizirema went missing after interview he gave aon YouTube ‘channel’ called Umurabyo TV where he criticized the ruling RPF-Inkotanyi party and compared it to the former MRND in Rwanda, according to a statement published by PS-Imberakuri after his disappearance.
Bernard Ntaganda on his statement he said that, him with collegues and familly lost him completely. His absence is similar to that of others such as Rusangwa Aimable, who was my private secretary, Shyirambere Dominique who led (the party) in the Gasabo region and many others who have been publicly arrested in recent days and disappeared.”
In previous articles the government said that they found some of the reasons why people go missing in Rwanda are:
Undocumented rural-urban migration,
Illegally crossing borders and spending time in other countries,
Run away from debt,
Problems in marriage
Those who go to rebel groups in neighboring countries
Those who are opposed to the government in Rwanda say that often those who disappear are due to giving their opinions that are contrary to the government’s line or that are contrary to what the government has announced about a certain event/event.
